Most Awesome Mormon Wedding Ever!!!

By far the best and most exciting Mormon wedding you will ever see!!! I had such a great time filming this video for Craig and Nattie!!! Do not really know what to say about these two except that they are amazing and were way fun to hang out with all day to capture their special moment in life.
So how do you make wedding videos awesome in a market that is over saturated with videographers making them left and right? You set yourself apart from them. That is exactly what I am trying to do. My goal is to make the best, most upbeat exciting wedding videos ever!!! There are so many people out there getting into this business and they have some really good work. I love the shots that they obtain and the crisp clean look of their videos, but after watching about one or two videos, I am done. So, my approach is to give it a more artistic feel. Let the music really drive home how fun the special day really is.
For this video, I was trying to use a Steadicam rig that is not meant for my T2i and stock lens. It really took away from me trying to capture those intimate moments and small details that add up to great memories. So I had to to get creative in the editing of this video and use some really cool effects that I have always wanted to use but never got around to it. So here it is for all to enjoy, Craig + Nattie, the song is "Closer to the Edge" by 30 Seconds to Mars. Enjoy!

Guys in Kilts can dance!

Men wearing Kilts! Do I need to say anything more? What an awesome wedding to document for this amazing couple. David's side of the family has Scottish heritage, so obviously he wore a kilt along with his brothers and cousin which made for some great video shots. To top it off they had a bag piper march into the reception hall straight from Scotland. AWESOME! The song is Kings and Queens by 30 Seconds to Mars. Congrats David and Tiffany! Enjoy!

Kurt and Heidi

This was shot July 2, 2011 at the Timpanogos LDS Temple. My best friend Kurt and his wife Heidi. They had such a fun, laid back wedding with the fourth of July theme. The song is The Story by Brandi Carlile. Enjoy!
